WELCOME BACK CONFIDENCE!

Confidence, one of the two Ghanaian represenatives in the Big Brother House, has returned home after staying six weeks in the House. She was up for three evictions, survived two but, unfortunately, the third marked the end of her journey in the Big Brother House.

Despite the conjectures that she may feel the sting, her joy at returning home triumphed. She admitted that she was quite apprehensive on returning because she was not sure if Ghana would be happy to welcome her back. However, her fears were allayed when she was met by a party of family, fans and media to her great surprise. However, her dog, Kyeiwaa (named after the famous Ghanaian movie) jealously claimed all her attention.

A press conference was held for her the next day at the Golden Tulip hotel the next day. The press took advantage of the opportunity to find out the many things everyone wanted to know: how she felt about being evicted, whether any of the guys in the house were hitting on her, did she have any personal interests in any of the guys, the stigma between her and some of the female housemates and of course, the very hot issue of Confidence's boobs were brought up.

Confidence, 'being insulated' in the House finally became privy to the snide remarks about her conduct in the house: the accusations of her being bossy as well as the huge frowns when she partially exposed her breasts. She strongly corrected that she was not nude and that it was part of the task Big Brother assigned for the in-mates. To accusations of her being being bossy, she said she did not know about that because she acted as she really is. And in reality, she is actually a boss. She also stated that now she knew these were some of the reactions, she wishes she could go back to the house, possibly to give her 'haters' more to talk about. As she said once, during her time in the House, "She can be a bigger bitch"!

However, The Diva, as she is affectionately called, is loved by many for these very reasons: her outspokenness and love for life. She did very well to showcase the beauty of Ghanaian fashions in the House. She played the role of a big sister to Alex, the other Ghanaian in the Big Brother House.

To crown off the joy of Confidence's return, a huge welcome party was thrown for the CEO at her club, Aphrodisiac. There was a grand bunch of Ghanaian celebrities and many others to celebrate Confidence: Essien, Eddie Blay, Kwao Kesse, Yvonne Okoro are just a few. The dance floor was so packed with excited dancers and the trail of happy party-goers did not stop on the dance floor but outside as well. Smartly dressed female waiters outside went round serving finger-foods to those cool "niggers that don't dance but just pull up their pants" and leaned back to the rhythms.  It was a great night for meeting people and making new friends.

Big Brother and Aphrodisiac are not the end of Confidence. She has plans of starting a reality show involving cooking, one of the many talents of the diva. She also hopes to start a charity for Cancer as well as funding surgeries to help fix deformities. In her own words, she is "a big fan of anything that can be fixed by
surgery." She was proudly made face of DSTV mobile.

Welcome back Confidence! Ghana is proud of you!
